Sesadi is a not-for-profit online educational service tailored towards Transition Year secondary school students and Community-Group classes to allow students acquire key skills that are traditionally only obtainable through third level institutions. The main module will be available from February 2018.
Presented by third level lecturers, in eight to twelve parts, the Sesadi module focuses on developing research, writing, presentation, and IT skills that complement and build upon current secondary school courses, and allow all students acquire crucial skills required for third level courses, and to enhance their CVs.
The Sesadi module features taught elements on the Geography of Europe, and applied research skills classes. There is also a place-based focus on the home town of students. The local study allows students to apply and develop key skills in familiar settings, and to develop and tailor resources and modules for future students in their school or community-groups.
